DIGI Keralam Training Program

The Digi-keralam Training Program was successfully conducted on 19th August 2024 at MSW Management hall .The event brought together educators, officials, and trainees, aimed at enhancing digital literacy and skills among participants.The program began with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. John T. Abraham, Head of the Department of Computer Science department. He was highlighted the significance of digital education in today’s rapidly evolving world and set the tone for the rest of the program. Following the welcome address, the Presidential address was delivered by Dr. Lissy Kachappilly, Principal of Bharatha Matha College Thrikkakkara. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of integrating digital tools into the educational curriculum to prepare students for the future.
The inauguration of the event was carried out by Mr. Noushad Pallachy the Education and Standing Committee Chairman. In his inaugural speech, he underscored the critical role of digital literacy in fostering economic growth and social development. He also commended the initiative for empowering individuals with the necessary skills to navigate the digital world effectively. A facilitation session was then led by Mr. Abdul Sathar, Health Inspector, who spoke on the relevance of digital tools in public health and the importance of being digitally informed to enhance community health services.The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Lintumol Raju, the programCoordinator . The training section was taken by Mr. Prijo Sebastian ,Information Kerala Mission He also acknowledged the Kerala Information Mission for its support and guidance throughout the training program.The Digikeralam Training Program was a significant step towards achieving digital literacy for all, equipping participants with essential skills for the digital age. The positive feedback from attendees indicates the success of the program and sets the stage for future initiatives.
